Sauk River Cleanup - Sauk Ness Monster Hunt - Rain
Barrel Give Away
The Friends of the Sauk River annual river cleanup
and Sauk Ness Monster Hunt will be held on May 21,
2011 from 10 am until noon. The activities begin at
River’s Edge Park, located along the Sauk River
between 3rd Street North and 10th
Avenue North in Waite Park. Following the cleanup
there will be a drawing for FREE rain barrel kits
(supply is limited), food and beverages.
Canoe Library
The Friends of the Sauk River now have a canoe
library and are quickly adding to it. Residents in
the Sauk River watershed can contact the Friends of
the Sauk River if
they are interesting in checking out canoes and equipment
free of charge.
